Charlie Brooker | Andy Murray: not miserable, just normal | Comment is free | The Guardian.

Poor Andy Murray, having to play tennis in the era of Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, and in front of the British (or should I say, English?) media too. He looked so good against Federer for almost two sets, but Federer conjured a break out of nowhere, took the second set, and it was all over bar the crying. Murray fought hard, but just couldn’t quite get it done on the important points.

He’s getting closer to his first Slam victory all the time, but is not there yet. Maybe next time…
