We’ve just discovered the delights of persimmons. The name is great. And the fruit has a mild mango-like flavour and a smooth texture. All you do is peel, cut up, and eat. No fuss, no muss, and no nasty pips or stones or seeds to deal with. We’ve been eating them for desert every night this week.
And, as a Friday night bonus (or some such thing) here am I with my new skinny face and wearing my new glasses. I don’t look quite like myself. But oh, I love the glasses. I’m still enjoying the novelty of reading clear, in-focus text.
