Petra's decided this week that she's interested in solid food. I guess turning nine months old was the magic charm. Travis isn't sneaking spoons into her mouth anymore, she's leaning forward, open-mouthed to get at the food. I hope that I'll be able to feed her now (Travis has been feeding her on the theory that she'd be more likely to take food from the non-milk-providing member of the family) and that she'll start eating something other than jars of Gerber's carrots and sweet potatoes.
Here she is looking a bit squishy and orange-tinged, but content, after a dinner of carrots.
