Poor old Petra's teething.  She's dribbling and making squint-eyed, scrunch-nosed, purse-lipped faces, and sliding her tongue over her gums like a lizard.  She's also been pooing a lot more than usual – I'm having trouble keeping up with the nappies.  And her sleep is all disrupted.  We've been getting up several times a night for the past few weeks – something I'm not enjoying.

Her two bottom front teeth are all the way through and I think more are coming because she's still in pain.  I hope they're quick about it because I don't like to see her so uncomfortable.

Here are a couple of pictures of the teeth hurt faces she makes:

I really need to do another sofia update…
Anyway, this sounds just like her right now. Pooing 5X a day. "Bitter beer face", scrunching up her face, one finger in her mouth, nearly her whole hand in her mouth, dribbles, etc. But, Sofia doesn't have any teeth yet. I am hoping one pops through soon. Luckily, sleeping has been just fine. She is out like a light between 8-9 and sleeps all night until about 6:20 or so in the morning.
On another note, she started "crawling" the other day. More like dragging herself around to get things like remotes, cords, etc. Cute but dangerous 🙂

I'm glad it's not just Petra with the pooing…. Yay for Sofia's long sleeps!! I wish Petra was sleeping as well. Petra goes to bed between 8-9 and gets up for the day between 6-8 usually. But in between times, we're up snacking one or two or three times in the night. She never stays up for more than a few minutes, but it's really disruptive.Yes, the crawling is nerve wracking – Petra still isn't rushing off to explore, but she is making a beeline for all the stuff we don't want her to touch. It's hard encouraging her to crawl and explore while at the same time heading her off when she touches things I don't want her to be touching. I'm worried she'll get confused and think she's not supposed to crawl

Yes, she's not a happy camper – I hope she gets a break soon.
