Petra has decided that solid foods are not for her. I was eager to introduce solids when she reached 6 months on the theory that the extra food would help her drop the middle-of-the-night feed she reintroduced a few weeks ago. However, Petra has other ideas. We've tried her with rice cereal, carrot, jars of pears and sweet potato, and mushed banana, but she just scrunches up her face and turns away. Apparently breast milk is best.
I'm going to give her a few days off, then try her with finger foods. Maybe if she sits at the table with us and has her own food to play with, she'll be more interested in eating something.
